Documenting the poetic qualities present in mundane moments, and capturing human experience in all its complexity. Shot on 35mm, the outcome is never predictable until it is time to develop the photographs. The imperfect qualities of the medium, shift the viewer’s attention to light, the feeling of spaces, and atmospheres — the emotions manifested by these ‘moments’ are put at the centre, rather than the material subjects in the room. The project aims to expose the feelings of anticipation, melancholy and warmth that manifest in mundane ‘moments’.
