The concept

<b>Walls that Move</b> — fabric-formed concrete; contrast & contradiction, fluidity, order & chaos.

The problem

<b>Tight space, lots of functions</b> — A high-street construction’s basement was set aside for hundreds of labourers to use as a canteen, with space requirements also for changing rooms, and presentation spaces. Lots of space requirements, and not a lot of space nor natural light.

The proposal

<b>Flexible Space</b> — Maximising usable space by strategically placing movable ‘walls’ that divide the room as necessary, and soft warm, soft lighting.
